Historical 30-year sea surface temperatures across 35 coastlines in Albania for May. Derived from NOAA 0.25° blended satellite and in-situ marine observations.
Albania spans two distinct marine regimes: the northern Adriatic shelf (sandy, shallower, warming quickly in June but peaking around 24.5°C) and the southern Ionian Riviera (Ksamil, Himara, Saranda), where deep underwater drop-offs create immense crystal-clear water masses that reach 25.3°C in August and retain 24.3°C well into September.
Individual coordinate lookups from NOAA OISST v2.1 0.25° marine grid.
